Licensed Electrical Panel Installer Denver, NC

Ecogreen comfort Group team group photo

EcoGreen Comfort Group is a trusted electrical panel installer providing professional panel upgrade services without quick fixes that leave underlying electrical issues for later. Our licensed electrical panel installers serve homeowners across Denver and the surrounding Lincoln County area, handling panel upgrades, replacements, and electrical capacity improvements with attention to safety and proper system requirements. If your existing panel can be upgraded, we recommend the appropriate upgrade. If replacement makes more sense, we explain why.

Every service call starts with a full electrical panel assessment. We check the panel condition, breakers, wiring, available capacity, connections, and overall electrical load before quoting anything. Pricing is written and reviewed before work begins. No estimates that grow after we open the panel, and no pressure to approve work you are not ready for.

“EcoGreen Comfort Group takes care of everything your home needs, from HVAC and electrical to plumbing, crawl space encapsulation, generators, and more. One call gets you a trusted team that knows your home and keeps it running the way it should.”

What We Do

Electrical Panel Upgrades Services We Provide in Denver, NC and Nearby Communities

From upgrading an outdated panel to replacing a damaged electrical panel, our licensed electrical panel installers handle electrical panel upgrade services across Denver, Iron Station, Lowesville, and the Lake Norman corridor.

Full replacement of an outdated or failed panel with a new unit rated for your home’s current load. Most older homes that are running 100-amp service benefit from an upgrade to 200-amp service to support modern appliances, EV charging, and future additions. All work is permitted and inspected.

Homes with original fuse boxes are operating on equipment that was never designed for today’s electrical demands. Fuses can be bypassed in ways that create serious fire hazards, and many insurers will not write a policy on a home with an active fuse panel. We replace fuse boxes with properly rated breaker panels and bring the service entrance up to current code.

Federal Pacific Stab-Lok panels and Zinsco panels have well-documented safety concerns. Their breakers are known to fail to trip under overload conditions, which removes the primary protection against overheating and fire. If your home has either brand, replacement is the appropriate course of action. We assess, quote, and replace with a properly permitted installation.

Homes that currently operate on 60 or 100-amp service often cannot support EV chargers, heat pumps, electric vehicle supply equipment, or the combined load of modern appliances without frequent breaker trips. A 200-amp service upgrade provides the capacity headroom needed for current use and future additions.

Adding a detached garage, workshop, home addition, or accessory dwelling unit often requires a subpanel fed from the main panel rather than running individual circuits across a long distance. We size and install subpanels correctly and ensure the feeder wiring between the main panel and subpanel meets code.

Not every panel problem requires a full replacement. If you are experiencing breaker trips, planning a large appliance addition, or preparing for an EV charger or home addition, we assess the panel’s current load, calculate available capacity, and give you a clear picture of what the panel can support and what it cannot.

SIGNS YOU MAY NEED ELECTRICAL PANEL UPGRADE SERVICES
Signs Your Electrical Panel Needs Attention

Electrical panel problems are not always easy to spot. Some signs develop gradually, while others can indicate that your panel is no longer handling your home’s electrical demands properly. Here is what to watch for:

  • Breakers trip frequently without a clear change in electrical usage

  • Lights flicker or dim when appliances or other electrical equipment are running

  • The electrical panel feels unusually warm or produces a burning smell

  • Buzzing, crackling, or other unusual sounds come from the panel

  • Breakers show signs of rust, corrosion, scorching, or physical damage

  • The panel has outdated fuses or an older breaker system

  • Your home has added appliances or electrical equipment that the existing panel may not have enough capacity to support

  • You frequently rely on extension cords or power strips because your electrical system lacks sufficient capacity

  • The panel is showing signs of age and has not been professionally inspected or upgraded in many years

If any of these sound familiar, an electrical panel assessment can determine what is happening and whether an upgrade or replacement is needed. We explain what we find and review the recommended work and pricing before anything starts.

NC ENERGY SAVER PROGRAMS

NCDEQ Rebates for NC Homeowners

Ecogreen comfort Group financing explained by our technician

The NC Energy Saver program, administered by the NC Department of Environmental Quality, offers rebates to qualifying North Carolina homeowners making energy efficiency improvements. Two programs are available, HOMES and HEAR, each with its own eligibility requirements and covered improvement categories based on household income and the scope of work. Eligibility and rebate amounts are determined by the program administrator.

EcoGreen Comfort Group is familiar with both programs and handles the licensed installation work on qualifying improvements across HVAC, insulation, air sealing, crawl space, and plumbing. If you are planning an upgrade and want to understand what may be available to you, we can help you work through the options and connect you with the right next steps.

North Carolina homeowners may qualify for rebates through the NC Energy Saver programs, including HOMES and HEAR. These programs offer money back on qualifying energy efficiency upgrades based on your income level and county. EcoGreen walks you through the application process and helps you submit. We work with a range of trusted brands including Trane, Generac, Rheem, Navien, Bradford White, and Tesla. If you have a preference, let us know when you schedule.

That depends on the age of your system, how often it’s been repaired, and how it’s performing. A system over 12 to 15 years old that needs frequent fixes is usually more cost-effective to replace. We’ll give you an honest assessment rather than pushing you toward the most expensive option.

Call us or fill out the contact form on this page. We’ll gather a few details about your home and schedule a time to come out. Most quotes are straightforward once we can see what we’re working with.
