HVAC Inspections by Licensed Technicians, Not Salespeople

Ecogreen comfort Group team group photo

EcoGreen Comfort Group performs residential HVAC inspections for homeowners, buyers, and sellers across Denver and the surrounding Lincoln County area. We inspect the full system, heating, cooling, airflow, refrigerant levels, electrical components, and ductwork, then give you a written report of what we found. We do not walk into an inspection looking for a repair sale.

If the system is in good shape, we tell you that. If there are problems, we explain what they are, how serious they are, and what it would cost to address them. You get the information you need to make the right call, whether that is negotiating a home price, scheduling a repair, or planning a replacement.

“EcoGreen Comfort Group takes care of everything your home needs, from HVAC and electrical to plumbing, crawl space encapsulation, generators, and more. One call gets you a trusted team that knows your home and keeps it running the way it should.”

What We Do

HVAC Inspection Services We Provide in Denver, NC

We handle inspections for every situation, from buyers closing on a home to homeowners trying to understand why their system is not performing the way it should, across Denver, Iron Station, Lowesville, and the Lake Norman corridor.

We inspect the full system before you close so you know exactly what you are buying and what it may cost to repair or replace.

We assess the system before you list so there are no surprises during the buyer’s home inspection that slow the sale or cut the price.

We run a complete system diagnostic when your HVAC is underperforming, making noise, tripping breakers, or driving up energy bills without explanation.

We evaluate older systems to tell you what is still working, what is wearing out, and how much useful life the equipment realistically has left.

Signs You Need an HVAC Inspection

You do not need to wait for a breakdown to schedule an inspection. These are the situations where a professional HVAC assessment makes the most sense:

  • Buying or selling a home and the HVAC system has not been recently serviced
  • Energy bills are rising without any change in how the home is used
  • Some rooms heat or cool fine while others never reach the right temperature
  • The system is 10 or more years old and has not had a professional checkup
  • HVAC making unusual noises that started recently
  • System runs constantly but the home never gets comfortable
  • A home inspector flagged the HVAC system and you want a licensed HVAC technician to take a closer look
  • You received a repair or replacement quote and want a second opinion before spending the money
  • The system recently broke down and you want to know the full condition before deciding next steps

An HVAC inspection gives you facts, not assumptions, before you make any decision about the system.

NC ENERGY SAVER PROGRAMS

NCDEQ Rebates for NC Homeowners

Ecogreen comfort Group financing explained by our technician

The NC Energy Saver program, administered by the NC Department of Environmental Quality, offers rebates to qualifying North Carolina homeowners making energy efficiency improvements. Two programs are available, HOMES and HEAR, each with its own eligibility requirements and covered improvement categories based on household income and the scope of work. Eligibility and rebate amounts are determined by the program administrator.

If your inspection identifies a system that qualifies for replacement under these programs, EcoGreen Comfort Group handles the licensed installation work and can walk you through what rebates may apply before you make a decision.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Common Questions About HVAC Inspection Services in Denver, NC

What does an HVAC inspection include?

We inspect the full heating and cooling system: equipment condition, thermostat operation, refrigerant levels, airflow, electrical components including capacitors and contactors, drain lines, heat exchanger, and ductwork where accessible. You receive a written report of every finding.

Yes. A general home inspector checks basic HVAC function but does not perform a detailed system evaluation. A licensed HVAC inspection before closing tells you the actual condition of the equipment, what repairs may be coming, and whether the system was properly sized and installed for the home.

Yes. If you received a repair or replacement quote from another company and want an independent assessment before spending the money, we provide a full diagnostic inspection with a written report. We have no stake in what the previous company recommended.

A standard residential HVAC inspection typically takes one to two hours depending on the number of systems, the age of the equipment, and how accessible the components are. We do not rush through the process.

We document the finding in the written report and explain the severity. If repair or replacement is needed, we provide written pricing separately. You decide what to do with the information. There is no obligation to book any follow-up work with us.

Once a year is the standard recommendation, ideally before the heating or cooling season begins. Older systems benefit from twice-yearly checks. If you are buying or selling a home, an inspection before closing or listing is worth doing regardless of when the last service was.
